Personality Styles Indicator
Personality Styles Indicator (PSI)
The Personality Styles Indicator Inspired by the Jung Type Indicator test, the Personality Styles Indicator (PSI) provides a surface-level assessment of an individual behavioural preferences. It has been created to aid individual interest in self-awareness for development purposes. It is not suitable for selection, although we do have alternative robust tests that are fitting for this purpose.
Use for: Individual and team development, coaching and guidance.
What the PSI measures: The PSI provides insight into how people typically think, feel and interact in ways that may be productive or counterproductive for your organisation.
Use with: Can be used to assess adults with a minimum of secondary/ high school education. Specifically, it is suitable for use in secondary, further, and higher education.

Understanding your Scores
The assessment requires you (test taker) to read and respond to a series of statements. For each statement, you must decide whether it is 'Like you' or 'Not like you'.
At the end of the assessment, your scores will be automatically calculated and presented to you in the form of percentages (%) for review. The highest percentage represents your preference for for the associated personality style. Besides this, you can use this information and further details to identify your preference as per the four dichotomies. A four-letter code that represents your personality style can be generated. With this information, you should be able to identify which careers may suit your personality style.
Should you wish one of our career coaches to discuss this with you, this can be arranged. Contact us on [email protected].
The 8 Personality Styles
How do you gain energy? Outers like to be with others and gain energy from people and the environment. Inners gain energy from alone-time and need periods of quiet reflection throughout the day.
How do you collect information? Realists gather facts from their immediate environment and rely on the things they can see, feel and hear. Imaginatives look more at the overall context and think about patterns, meaning, and connections.
How do you make decisions? Headers look for the logically correct solution; Feelers make decisions based on how they feel, including their emotions, values, and the needs of others.
How do you organise your environment? Planners prefer structure and like things to be orderly; Relaxers like things to be open and flexible as they are reluctant to commit themselves to plans.
